Boombox is fabricated over12 weeks in a warehouse in Chicago and then shipped to the final location for installation and finishing. We cut, weld, disassemble and reassemble a shipping container and transform it into a new, heated structure with electric, utilities and modern aesthetic comfortable for use all year.

Start with building

Boombox can create a comprehensive social enterprise to transform vacant urban spaces as part of a new program redeveloping neighborhood innovation districts. Vacant sites from land to public plazas to transit stations can be repurposed to create new commercial corridors that support local business and community groups.

Make new systems

Construction of Boombox units throughout the city have the potential to spur job creation from general contracting, vocational training, STEAM youth programs, small business incubators and marketing.
